Edenborn Pty Ltd. Has a Strong Commitment Western Australia

Albany-based Edenborn Pty Ltd. is a family-owned business with a strong commitment to the region of Western Australia and a determination to continue facilitating change in the timber industry. The company has been in business for more than 11 years – starting with the first Waratah head in Western Australia. They employ 65 people, specializing in log harvesting, infield chipping, and haulage. Bluegum is their primary harvest and all their products are currently exported to Japan and China.
The company runs three 616C Waratah heads fitted to Tigercat H250B carriers. Operations Manager, Craig Fildes, said of the product, “The Waratah heads are working very well and are very reliable. The new Cs are stronger and faster and the technology improvements are huge.”
Waratah prides itself, not only on its “Built-to-Work” products but on its best-in-class service. Fildes explained, “Edenborn has always used Waratah heads. The local support has always been good and we haven’t seen anything that can match the all-around reliability and support Waratah offers.”
Waratah showcased its latest and greatest at AusTimber
Waratah Forestry Attachments attended AusTimber - the largest forestry show in the Asia Pacific and African regions – March 29-31.
AusTimber is held once every four years with this year being in Mt. Gambier, South Australia. For the first time in AusTimber history, both live and static displays were together in the actual forest environment.
“It’s very exciting to be at AusTimber this year with Waratah,” said Jules Larsen, Waratah Distribution Manager. “We’ll be showcasing some really great products this year and I think customers will really be interested in seeing the new Waratah offerings.”
Waratah hosted a 20 meter by 20 meter booth, showcasing both softwood and delimbing products as well as its technological advancements.
